Anthony J. Saliba - Chief Executive Officer
Anthony Saliba is an Executive Managing Director of BNY ConvergEx Group, LLC and Chief Executive Officer of LiquidPoint, LLC. In his current role, Mr. Saliba manages the options trading platforms for both the buy-side and sell-side investment community.
He began his trading career at Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) trading equity options as an independent market maker. Throughout the next decade, he expanded his trading horizons to include most CBOE products, currencies and the Standard & Poor’s 500 contracts on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, along with the agricultural and interest rate products traded on the Chicago Board of Trade. Index products (SPX) ended up being his primary focus, where he traded the last four years on the CBOE floor. Mr. Saliba had been a dominant presence in all markets in which he traded on a full-time basis, holding volume records in a number of the classes. He is widely recognized as a pioneer and leader in the Chicago derivatives market and was the only options trader to be profiled in the bestselling book, Market Wizards. He served on the CBOE's Board of Directors from 1987-1989 and has participated on numerous industry committees.
James C. Kallimani – Managing Director, Engineering and Technology
James C. Kallimani is the Managing Director of Engineering and Technology for LiquidPoint, LLC. During the past eight years, he has overseen the technical architecture and development activities central to the LiquidPoint product offering. With extensive experience in software application design and development, Mr. Kallimani has worked in various industries for organizations such as NeXT Computer, Pixar Animation Studios, and Hughes Aircraft Company. Prior to joining LiquidPoint, Mr. Kallimani headed his own technical consulting company. Currently, his primary responsibilities revolve around development management, product formulation, and marketing.
Mike McNamara – Managing Director, Finance and Operations
Mike McNamara has worked in the Futures and Options industry in various capacities for the past 17 years. Before joining LiquidPoint he was the head of Global Risk management at Rosenthal Collins Group LP. He joined LiquidPoint in 2000 and oversaw the company’s transition from a proprietary trading company to the premier provider of options liquidity and executions services. Mr. McNamara’s responsibilities include supervision of the firm’s overall operation including cash management and financial and regulatory compliance.
Daniel Rooney – Managing Director, Business Development and Sales
Dan Rooney has over 20 years of financial services experience, specializing in the market data industry. He spent 15 years at Reuters America in Sales, Senior Sales Management and Customer Service. During his time at Reuters, Rooney developed and implemented what is today, the Reuters North American Service Organization. He spent over 3 years at the Chicago Board of Trade; leading change within the industry by transforming antiquated market data industry policies to reflect the introduction of digital distribution technologies, while significantly increasing CBOT market data revenues.
Mark Bromley – Managing Director, Strategic Initiatives and Exchange Relationships
Mark Bromley comes to LiquidPoint with over 20 years of Sales; Marketing; Customer Service and Product Development experience in the market data and financial services industries. Leveraging his expertise in electronic trading and product design, Mark plays a critical role in the company’s business development.
Joseph Corona – Director of Strategic Planning
Specializing in proprietary trading and risk management, Joseph Corona has spent over 25 years in derivative markets. As a veteran trader, he has had extensive experience in both listed and over-the-counter markets, trading electronically worldwide and on the floor of the CBOE, CBOT, CME and LIFFE. Prior to joining LiquidPoint, Mr. Corona served Managing Director of the Asia Pacific region for CDLS Consulting LLC, a proprietary trading and consulting firm. He has also been an adjunct instructor and consultant for the International Trading Institute, Ltd., Chicago on a part-time basis for the last fourteen years; training over 200 international and domestic clientele in advanced option trading and risk analysis techniques.
John Power – Director of Customer Service
John Power was a trader for his own account for 17 years on the CME, CBOT and CBOE. Subsequent to that, he served for 5 years as a Vice-President of the CBOE in charge of The Options Institute, the Exchange’s educational arm. In his final year at the CBOE; he was a Vice-President of Customer Relationships. Power was Vice-President in charge of Business Development and Customer Relations for Botta Capital Management LLC from 2000 until the end of 2002. In 2003, he joined LiquidPoint as a Director of Business Development.
Allen Greenberg - Execution Services Manager
Allen Greenberg has over 20 years of CBOE floor experience. Since 1984, he has covered all aspects of retail/professional floor brokerage. Upon joining the company 5 years ago, he has transitioned from options execution and currently manages LiquidPoint's floor operations, both on the CBOE and AMEX. Allen is also a respected member of the CBOE's Arbitration and Appeals committees.
John P. Williams – Strategic Deployment Manager
John P. Williams is a strategic deployment manager for LiquidPoint, LLC and manages trading system deployments in their critical “go-live” period. Prior to joining LiquidPoint, he was a Chicago Board of Trade Commodity Options Member and options market maker trading the agricultural options complex. Over the years, John has held various senior product management positions at Bank America, Infinty Financial Technology and Sun Microsystems
Dave Schmueck -Compliance Officer and Quality Assurance Manager
David Schmueck has 30 years of experience in the options business. He spent over 20 years as a manager and broker on the CBOE for full service broker-dealers, including Kidder Peabody and Paine Webber. After that, David spent 3 years trading for his own account as a market-maker on the CBOE. David joined LiquidPoint early in 2000 and is currently focusing on compliance and quality assurance responsibilities.
